Each of Ohio’s Colleges of Medicine (CoMs) and their participating Hub sites utilize an exclusive, password protected, PHI secure REDCap data portal to submit and manage their quality improvement data for the Regional QI Hub Project. It streamlines how hubs and spoke sites provide standardized metrics to ensure accurate, timely tracking of progress on chronic disease initiatives. Data is uploaded bi-weekly and the dashboard is updated by GRC accordingly. Interactive dashboards allow for a data-driven view of project implementation and outcomes. Users can select specific data to explore trends, compare populations across participating sites, and generate tailored charts and tables for internal use. The tool is designed to be user-friendly, requiring no background in programming or statistics.
